Cofamm is dedicated to the manufacturing of complete systems for household garbage sorting, from municipal waste. Our waste sorting line cover most of problems of separation giving, as final result, steel and non ferrous materials, paper and cardboard, aluminium and steel cans separated, plastic film, HDPE and PET bottles separated by colour as well and, at the end of sorting conveyor, RDF that can be used as fuel to generate the energy the system requires. Organic materials can be treated with different systems, according to customer needing, by Autoclaves or Pyrolysis. The material at the inlet point is the common, unsorted, household garbage and we are proud to say the remaining % that can go to landfill can be as less as 25%. The lines for garbage sorting can be set up in many different ways according to the composition of "raw material" that can vary from country to country, the cost of energy, cost of man power and other parameters we took under consideration case by case. A standard household garbage line starts with a receiving area where garbage is dumped into and, automatically, it is dosed and conveyed to the very beginning of the garbage sorting line by a set of steel conveyors to a bags opener, after removing of "oversized" items that can be sometimes found into. A set of star conveyors remove most of organics before going into a trommel separator  and Spinning machine where final sizing takes effect. At this point of the line the material consist of paper, commingled plastics, steel and aluminium cans, glass and few "un-sortable" items. One or a set of ballistic separators make further sorting dividing the flow into two or more streams. The garbage sorting line can be equipped with automatic NIR separators to sort out paper and different plastics while steel is separated by magnetic overhead conveyors and aluminium cans by Eddy current separators. According to the country where the waste recycling line will be installed, final sorting can be done in different ways and refined to obtain specific materials ready to be marketed. Lines can be completed as well with plastic washing lines for LDPE film, HDPE and PET bottles, furnaces for aluminium cans, water filtration and treatment systems plus, on request, organic materials treatment by autoclaves and/or Pyrolysis.
